10 seconds per round. Sit or lie down somewhere you will not be interrupted, then press start.
Press start and follow the circle. There are no holds in this one, so the breath simply turns around at the top and the bottom without stopping.
Five in and five out works out at about six breaths a minute, which is the rate where breathing and heart rhythm tend to fall into step. It is the easiest of the three to sit with for a long stretch.

Frequently asked questions
Is this coherence breathing timer free?
Yes. It runs in your browser with no signup and nothing to install. Open the page, press start and follow the circle.
Is coherence breathing the same as resonance breathing?
Yes. Coherent breathing, resonance breathing and resonance frequency breathing all describe the same thing: a slow, even rhythm of around six breaths a minute with no holds.
How long should I practise for?
Ten minutes is a comfortable target because there are no holds to tolerate. Five minutes still does plenty, and this is the rhythm most people can keep going the longest.
Why five seconds rather than six?
Five in and five out lands at six breaths a minute, which is where most people find their resonance. Everyone sits slightly differently, so treat it as a starting point rather than a target to force.
Do I need the sound on?
No. The circle carries the whole rhythm. Sound is optional, with a master volume and separate switches for the voice cues, the chimes and the breathing sounds.
